Morgan Law writes page-turners that don't always fit neatly into genre classifications. Count on finding suspense and interesting plots, memorable characters, and romantic relationships in each of her thrillers. Conversely, do not expect to find either slasher style, deep dish horror or classic science fiction writing in her books.
Law produces thought-provoking genre hybrids in which solid, believable characters are cast into extraordinary situations far beyond the boundaries of normal, day-to-day reality. Where Gaea's Tears is a suspenseful tale that smoothly interweaves strands from Native American prophecy, the occult, romance, and end-times horror, the unnerving plot of A Very Exclusive Vineyard successfully fuses elements of horror, science fiction, and romance.

If you are new to eBooks, you can also learn about free software for reading eBooks on all kinds of devices including special purpose eBook hardware (i.e., readers), PCs, and mobile devices.
If you now have a desktop or notebook computer, you can download free eBook reader software to your Mac or PC from Amazon (Kindle), or Barnes & Noble (Nook). After you have the eBook software, you can begin to browse for books by Morgan Law. The Kindle and Nook bookshelves have vast numbers of titles to choose from, so either of them would be a good starting place. Links to obtain the free software for your Mac or PC desktop/notebook are listed below.
Here are some key points about eBooks.
If you have an Android Web phone, iPhone, or tablet/pad computer, look for free readers in your App Store. Once you have access to reader software, you will be able to purchase eBooks on one of your devices that will automatically and conveniently be made available on all of your desktop/notebook and hand-held devices that have the same reader software. The software will even keep track of the last page you have read and sync to that page when you move from one device to another.
Check the App Store on your hand-held device for eBook Apps.
Reader devices for eBooks, which are very lightweight, are designed for the primary purpose of delivering comfortable and enjoyable reading. Android and Apple phones, tablets, and pads are not dedicated reading devices, but they too are lightweight, handheld, and extremely portable. If you already have one these, be sure to check out free reader Apps before you invest in new Kindle or Nook hardware.
Hardware for eBooks has undergone many improvements, and more improvements are undoubtably planned. That said, selecting eBook reader hardware should be informed by finding up-to-date reviews and talking with owners if possible. If you see someone reading on a Kindle or Nook take time to ask how he or she likes it. Also, learn whether your favorite authors are available exclusively on the Kindle and Nook bookshelves, and browse their offerings to see whether one collection or the other seems more suited to your personal tastes in reading.
Another interesting advantage of eBook readers is the ability to have free sample chapters sent to your device immediately.
Morgan Law lived on a cattle ranch in West Texas until the drought of the 1950s forced her family to sell out and move to the city. In retrospect, it might be said that they became part of one of the earliest waves of modern-day climate refugees. Law graduated from high school in El Paso and went on to earn her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from The University of Texas at Austin.
Law has worked as a social science research and evaluation specialist, policy analyst, and computer system and Website developer. She is an avid reader who loves to garden, prepare and eat wholesome, non-processed food, and travel. She is passionate about respect for the natural environment and for non-human animals, and she does her best to practice nonviolence as a way of life. Law now lives in Central Texas with her husband of over 50 years and a beloved, three-legged rescue cat.
